What is it?

These corded headphones have been designed for the sportsman in mind. Featuring an inline microphone and volume control, they let you enjoy both your music and take phone calls while you’re out on the run.

Look and feel

The headphones are shaped for behind the ear fit, with yellow cords coming down. The build itself is pretty solid, and they are extremely light. As the wire comes down, there is the built in volume control and microphone embedded in the cord.

Included with the package are an extension cable, and three different pairs of comfort ear gels for various ear sizes. They have also included a small compact carry case, which means it is quite easy to carry them in your pocket or your gym bag.

The yellow may not be everyone’s colour, but it does make you more visible when you’re out.

Compatibility

These are compatible with any phone that may take a 3.5mm plug. This should make this work with iPhones and most other smartphones, such as Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone devices.

Sound Quality

Headphones are always about the sound quality, and these do not disappoint. Packed with powerful speakers, these sound quite loud. This works particularly when you are out and about on a run, along the road, or even on a beach. The embedded volume control proves to be particularly useful in such situations too.

The sound itself is great quality, with deep basses and clear trebles. A great performance overall, though personally I always find in-ear styled headphones to be a bit bass heavy.

Call Quality

As far as calls go, it is as simple as it gets. You can accept calls with the press of the button

Designed for outdoor

These headphones are rain and dust proof, meaning you can be out and about with them whether it is nice and bright outside, or just plain miserable.  Once again, this makes them ideal for the sporty types, who like to be out and about come rain or snow.

Comfort/Wearing

Probably the most important thing for me when it comes to headphones is actually how comfortable they are, and how long I can keep them on for. The behind the ear design is quite good in the sense that the headphones don’t come off when you’re running. In fact, give them a tug, and they still stay solid.

The ear gels are a good touch, as they give you extra comfort for those long periods of time.

You may start to notice your ear aching after wearing these for a couple of hours, but each to their own.

Verdict

A great product overall, designed with the runner/sporty person in mind. While the behind the ear design makes it more practical, the real magic lies in the great sound they provide.
