British Inventors Project coming to GSL

The Gadget Show Live is bringing its first ever British Inventors Project. This means better focus and emphasis on our very own British inventors and engineers, giving them publicity as well as opportunity to gain better funding. The projects include the likes of Artificial Pancreas which can be used to give the perfect amount of insulin, all the way to WiFi Connected beds.

Mark Sheahan, inventor in residence at the British Library’s Business & IP Centre and a British Invention Project finalist with his It-Tub technology, added: “It’s fantastic that the Gadget Show Live is helping to shine a much-needed spotlight on British inventors and innovation. It’s not that we don’t have the creativity and talent in the UK, but we do struggle when it comes to attracting the funding and investment needed to both make that initial leap required to take a design to market and to then grow a start-up into the next Microsoft or Hewlett Packard. Anything that can help designers reach a wider audience is much appreciated.”
