Philips announce playful and portable speakers and headphones this CES!

Philips have just unveiled a whole lot of stuff at this year’s CES, and following are the highlights:

Philips E2 Fidelio Wireless Studio Hi-Fi Speakers

The speakers are a pair of sleek pillars, designed to fill any room with a powerful hi fi sound. The exterior features a charcoal grey cloth and natural wood tops. The top also allows users to simply tap to control volume. Integrated are a premium soft dome tweeter as well as a 4″ woofer, delivering 100W of power. HDMI and optical/co-ax inputs mean users can connect this to their televisions, PC/game consoles, or to their mobile devices uses Bluetooth.

This will be available in spring, at a RRP of £299.

 

Philips Bluetooth Foldie Fashion headphones

The clue is perhaps in the name. The Bluetooth headphones are designed both to fold, as well as look great. Moreover they offer complete immersion with a closed acoustic system and 40mm high performance neodymium drivers. Completely wireless, they offer your music at the highest quality and style without the cord. They will be available in April, at a retail price of £99.99.

Philips Frames

Also announced are the Frames headphones, featuring a compact and foldable designe, once again offering immersion from a closed acoustic system and premium drivers. The lightweight construction combined with soft-on-ear cushions make them comfortable enough to wear all day. They will be availble in June, at prices between £99 for black and white, while £109 for the tortoiseshell cover.

These wireless speakers won the 2014 CES Innovations Award, offering powerful sound with dual two inch drivers, and unique indoors and outdoor modes mean they work for all occasions. More than one can be daisy chained together for maximum sound impact. They will be available this month with an RRP of £99.99.

And of course, the biggest trend of last year continues. The DOT is Philips’ offering to the world of small portable speakers, that fit in your hand. It also features a splash proof and ruggedized frame, so it can go wherever your adventure takes you, whatever the weather. This will be available this February, at a RRP of £60.
