Pure Release new Pure Connect app

Pure are no strangers to the world of audio, and a big name in the world of DAB radios. So it is no surprise that they are taking the next step into that world by releasing a series of new music discovery and connect features on their Pure Connect app. The app not only allows users to access over 20,000 global radio stations, but also allows to connect to on demand programs and podcasts. It also allows over 15 million streamable music tracks via the Pure Music subscription service. You can also synchronize all this with the use of Jongo multiroom systems.

While only available for the iPhone and iPad market, the Android version will be available soon as well.

London, 17th April 2013: Pure has teamed up with leading radio and music industry partners to deliver a series of curated music discovery features on the new Pure Connect app* and website.

Pure Connect uniquely combines a comprehensive on-demand music service with a free radio service and control for Pure’s ground-breaking new Jongo multiroom music system. Users can access over 20,000 global radio stations, around 200,000 free on-demand programmes and podcasts, as well as over 15 million streamable music tracks via the Pure Music subscription service**.

And now, thanks to the launch of a series of curated features, users can enjoy content put together especially for Pure Connect by industry leading partners. Launch features include album recommendations from 7digital and Absolute Radio’s Hometime Show DJ, Geoff Lloyd and a focus on fresh new acts through Emerging Icons. There is also a special launch feature on Manchester band, Folks, who performed at the Jongo launch. Music fans can listen to their debut album, “I See Cathedrals” and find out more about the story behind some of the tracks. Each feature contains additional content ranging from interviews to related artists, tracks and albums taking the user on a journey of discovery.

All this content and local music can be beautifully synchronised through the home with Pure Connect and the new Jongo multiroom music system.
