Android folk have had some bragging rights over their Apple counterparts for quite some time now thanks to the beautiful marvel from Google called Google Now. If you have not had much experience of Google Now, it is basically what the Search app is for Android phones (Jelly Bean and above), and by using cards it tells you the weather, how soon you have to leave for that meeting you have in 2 hours, the flight details of your planned journey and more. It integrates with your Google account and knows almost exactly what is needed and when, and while all this feels magical and unbelievable, people who use it know that it works almost perfectly.

Today, Google have announced that the Apple people are not going to be far behind when it comes to being connected to NOW. More information from Google is available on their blog at the following link:

They even pack in a video to give you a short overview:

So what do you think? Cool huh?

Do you think this is just another step between now and when Google finally release the browser version of Now? Or do you think this is what they were working on all along while we were hoping for the browser version? Either way, the lovely folk at Google have proven that they always have a few new pleasant surprises up their sleeves!
