BERKSHIRE COMPANY PILOTS JUMPOFFICE™
Innovative office equipment to get the corporate world moving
A forward thinking company in Berkshire has been the first in the UK to trial JumpOffice™, an innovative range of office equipment set to transform the health of corporate Britain.
The new range – which features mini trampolines throughout the office space – is the brainchild of Lee Myall, director of Air Leisure UK and co-founder of Jumptastic Trampoline Parks.
Commenting on the hugely positive response to JumpOffice™ Mr Myall said: “We know how happy jumping makes our customers – from very young children to adults. We felt there was an opportunity to transfer some of our learnings from Jumptastic Trampoline Parks to the corporate sector, and at the same time help to introduce physical activity into the working day. Our sedentary lives cost the country billions each year – in fact if you sit all day your risk for a heart attack is about the same as smoking. We want to get the nation moving, and JumpOffice™ will certainly do just that.”
The company chosen to trial JumpOffice™ was Berkshire based communications agency Promote. The health conscious team won ‘Healthy Workplace of the Year’ at the Berkshire Sports Awards in 2015 for their positive approach to the wellbeing of their employees which includes personal training for all staff, fresh fruit in the office and standing desks.
Commenting on the pilot, the company’s MD, Sue Anstiss, said: “The team are always up to try something new, especially as we’ve been so happy with our standing desks which we introduced across the agency last year. JumpOffice™ was an immediate hit with everyone. After a few hours of using them you hardly notice you’re bouncing, but the physical benefits are massive. Apart from a couple of messy incidents with hot drinks we’ve only had a positive response from the team.”Google+
