London is one of those cities that is well known for its taxis. New York is another prime example, and there are a few of such cities around the world. Calling a taxi is a big part of living and working there, and that can be quite annoying, specially if you’re in a hotel, or are a visitor to any of these cities, as you may not know who to trust or call.
GetTaxi are looking to solve this problem, and they have unveiled their self-service taxi ordering tablet at The Business Travel Show in London. The tablets are installed in self-service kiosks, and they are specifically designed for office receptions, hotel lobbies and business centres.
What’s even better is that using their smart app, passengers can even pay for their ride directly from their smartphone, at no extra cost.
Shahar Waiser, Founder and CEO of GetTaxi comments: “Going forward our vision is to have GetTaxi Kiosk at key locations all around cities creating virtual taxi ranks, as a reliable, safe and fast alternative to the minicab service. We believe all Londoners should have easy access to iconic London Taxi cabs, with no minimum fares, and the GetTaxi Kiosk, we believe we can achieve this.”
Designed and manufactured in UK, the Kiosk promises a high quality product, that will feature in over 24 prime cities in the world.
GetTaxi Kiosk is being rolled out in London, Israel and Russia from today and New York later on this year.
