Photine

10 or so years ago, digital photo frames were the latest fad. They were exciting, you could see more than one photos in them, and they were really cool. This was all before we had tablets and iPhones and smartphones. Suddenly those digital frames were just very expensive screens that did not offer much functionality, and didn’t even have very good screens.

Photine have taken all that, and turned it into a product that re-invents the digital photoframe. Now you’re connected to the internet, your social media, and it can constantly update as you upload photos on those sites. More over, they come with 1,3, or 4 screens, with a Canadian maple frame.

In fact, let’s show you a video they prepared:

“Memories define us and reliving those moments is an important part of remembering who we are” Charlie Jackson, Founder & Product Design Engineer at Nine Studios.

Photine frames are set up via their mobile app or any web browser. Starting out is as simple as:

  • Launching the app
  • It discovers a new frame to set up
  • Sign the frame into your WiFi
  • Log into 1 or more online services like Facebook or Dropbox
  • Your frame will now display your images.

Lots of features are packed in, and they come in the following three options:

So, you can see the price structure on the options above. However, the Indiegogo campaign is offering early bird deals where you can get the single frame for £150, 3 frame for £250, and 4 frame for £350.

To get these great offers, and to support them, you can head over to their Indiegogo campaign at the following link:

Their target is £200,000, and you have 34 more days left (as of now) to support them.

So, here we have the chance to re-create those memories, and bring all those photos we take constantly on our phones to life, and do it all while making it look beautiful. Also, with the great support team behind the product, you can be sure that they will include the next big service to this as well, whether it be the next Facebook, or Instagram.
