The new feature means users in the UK will be able to top up their account wallet and purchase content from the PlayStation store and the Sony Entertainment Network using their mobile phone account.

Sony has joined forces with Boku, a mobile payments company to make buying PlayStation Store and Sony Entertainment Network content easier. Content includes downloadable games, add-ons, themes, movies and TV shows, as well as subscriptions to the Music Unlimited service.

To set up the new Wallet Funding option you will need to log into account Management on the Sony Entertainment Network website or the PlayStation Store on PlayStation 3.
