Review: Crumpler Jackpack 1500 Camera Case

We recently reviewed the Crumpler Jimmy Bo 600 DSLR case, and liked it a lot. We now have another Crumpler case to review for you all and this time it is the Jackpack 1500.

There is comfortably enough room for a camera with a zoom lens fitted, PLUS another spare lens or two. If you didn’t have a spare lens (or maybe just a small one) then you’ll probably be able to get a charger in there too.

In addition to the space in the main section of the bag, there is a zip pocket on the front under the flap where you can store all your spare memory cards, batteries, lens wipes etc. Another nice little added bonus for the Jackpack 1500 is that it also comes with a free little gadget pouch for you to store even more little goodies in.

This is more of a traditional camera bag compared to the Jimmy Bo, and is provided with a standard shoulder strap. You can also grip the bag by hand by slipping your fingers underneath the top material from the back, although this would be easy to miss unless you happen to know you can do this!

The bag is provided with a movable space divider inside the main compartment, which fixes in place by Velcro. This is a very easy way of setting it up so you camera and accessories fit inside perfectly, and there is no risk of anything rattling around loose inside.

As with all Crumpler bags, it comes with a staggering 30 year warranty, so you can be confident that it is made to a high standard, and intended to last.

As you can see from the pictures, the one we have been sent is grey, but it is also available in black. The Crumpler Jackpack 1500 can be found in the Crumpler section of the LoveCases website at:
